Review of resources for first-time self-caterers
Thursday 24 May 2007
As part of the FSA Scotland strategy to improve access to healthier food choices, a review of educational resources for assisting populations self-catering for the first time was commissioned by Food Standards Agency Scotland in 2005.
The work set out to evaluate a range of educational tools on budgeting, food shopping, basic cooking, food hygiene and healthy eating. The Agency is committed to making healthier eating choices easier for all and to reducing barriers to adopting a healthier diet. This report, by the University of Dundee, will inform our ongoing work in support of the Agency's strategic aims.
