Spreadsheet Data

The following Excel spreadsheets present information from the Agency's UK-wide survey of Salmonella and Campylobacter contamination of retail chicken, which was carried out between April and June 2001. Separate spreadsheets are presented for England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

The information has been provided to give an early indication of the findings from the survey. However, if you consult these spreadsheets you should be aware that the data is still provisional, particularly for Campylobacter, and may be subject to change at a later date. There are some gaps and inconsistencies in the data sets that need to be resolved before finalised spreadsheets are produced. To date, only preliminary analysis has been carried out on the information collected and further work is planned. Updated spreadsheets will be placed on this website along with the final report in due course.
