Natco recalls batch of fennel seeds

Natco Foods Ltd has recalled a certain batch code of its Fennel Seeds product, due to the presence of salmonella. Salmonella is a bacterium that can cause food poisoning. The Agency has issued a Food Alert for Information.
The product being recalled is:
- Natco Fennel Seeds
Pack Sizes: 20 x 400g and 6 x 1kg packs
Batch Code: 4538
Expiry Date: 12/2009
No other Natco Foods Ltd products or batch codes are known to be affected.
Natco Foods Ltd has recalled the affected batch. Product recall notices have been issued to all of its customers. These notices will advise customers of the recall and how they can obtain a refund if they have already bought the affected product.
