Shellfish Harvesting Classifications England and Wales: 2006–2007

The list of classifications given for 1 September 2006 to 31 August 2007 for shellfish production areas in England and Wales.

The Agency's long term classification system for shellfish production areas has been in place since May 2006. It is hoped that the aspect of the system dealing with the implementation of local action groups and local action plans will be fully effective from 1 September 2006.

We have therefore included in the classification tables those class B areas that have been classified under this system. These are indicated in the 'Class' column by the letters 'LT'. Under this scheme all other B class areas continue to be classified on an annual basis.
