Terms of Reference of Framework Agreement Sub Group
In the context of the Food Standards Agency Framework Agreement on local authority food law enforcement to:
- review the operation and scope of the Framework Agreement and its contribution to the Agency's core objectives and where appropriate comment on necessary changes to it in the light of experience with its use;
- assist in the provision of regular reports to the ELG on the operation of the Framework Agreement;
- consider information generated by the Framework Agreement monitoring and audit arrangements and its implications for judgements about enforcement performance;
- comment on best practise identified by the monitoring and audit arrangements and how this might be disseminated between local authorities;
- and consider information generated by mirror groups set up in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
