Management Group
The Changes to Local Authority Enforcement (CLAE) Management Group, which reports to the CLAE Policy Board, is chaired by Julie Monk, Head of Enforcement, with internal FSA members, including FSA Scotland, FSA Wales and FSA Northern Ireland.
Terms of Reference
The proposed Terms of Reference for the CLAE Management Group are:
- to co-ordinate and manage the four reviews on the future of local authority food law enforcement:
- the review of enforcement policy
- the review of monitoring
- the review of audit arrangements
- the review of the Framework Agreement
- to achieve delivery of final changes to agreed timetables
- to receive reports from the lead official on each review
- to report to the CLAE Policy Board, for overall strategic direction
- to recognise that the FSA representation on the CLAE Management Group includes representatives from Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland to ensure a co-ordinated policy development approach is taken across the UK
