Prime Brand has recalled a batch of canned Prime Brand Whole Straw Mushrooms (425g) due to anaerobic spore formers resulting in blown cans. Prime Brand has recalled the affected batch from sale. Product recall notices will be displayed in retail stores. These notices alert customers to the recall and advise them of what actions to take if they have purchased the product. In addition, Prime Brand will be placing an advert in SingTao daily Chinese newspaper on 27 and 29 November 2008.

The product being recalled is:

• Batch code: 20080428 854 M
  3502/01009
• Best before end: 28/04/2011

No other Prime Brand products are affected by this recall.
