Richard Woodhall Ltd has recalled from sale one batch of Cumbrian Pancetta (Tradional Dry Cured) due to the detection of low levels of Listeria monocytogenes.
Richard Woodhall Ltd has undertaken a product recall and is displaying point-of-sale notices in all stores supplied. These notices alert customers to the recall and advise them of what actions to take if they have purchased the affected products.
The product recalled is:
- Cumbrian Pancetta (Traditional Dry Cured)
- Pack size: 100g
- Best before date: 30 November 2008
No other Richard Woodhall Ltd products are known to be affected.

Woodall Cumbrian Pancetta – Traditional Dry Cured (Smoked)
As a precautionary measure, a batch of Woodall Cumbrian Pancetta is being recalled because of the low level presence of Listeria monocytogenes.
The recall concerns only:
Richard Woodall Cumbrian Pancetta (Traditional Dry Cured) (Smoked) 100g packets. Best before: 30/11/08
If you have bought any of the affected packs, these should not be consumed and we would ask that the products are returned to store or to the supplier from whom it was purchased. Alternatively, products should be sent directly to:
