Update on Holland and Barrett recall of Nature's Harvest Sesame Seeds Products due to salmonella contamination

Ref: 31/2007 (Update 1) [32/2007 (update 1) Scotland]
following the Food Alert for Information 31/2007 issued on 12 October 2007 concerning withdrawal of a batch of the above product being withdrawn due to contamination with Salmonella, Holland and Barrett has now recalled two further batches of products containing Sesame Seeds as a precautionary measure.
Holland and Barrett has recalled the affected batches from sale. Point-of-sale notices will be displayed in all Holland and Barrett stores. These notices will advise customers of the reason for the recall and the actions they can take if they have already purchased the affected products.
The products recalled are:
Nature’s Harvest Sesame Seeds Hulled 500g
Batch code: 30118
Best before end: April 2008
Nature’s Harvest Omega Sprinkle 250g
Batch code: 29703
Best before end: Feb 2008

No other Holland and Barrett Nature's Harvest products or batch codes are known to be affected.
