Gluten Free Foods Ltd recalls certain batches of Barkat Organic Porridge Flakes due to infestation with moths

Gluten Free Foods Ltd has undertaken a recall of certain batches of its Barkat GLUTEN FREE & WHEAT FREE Organic Porridge Flakes (500g), due to the presence of adult moths, moth pupae and larvae within the product.

Gluten Free Foods Ltd has undertaken a product recall of the affected batches and point-of-sale notices have been issued to all of its customers to notify the public of the recall. The notice advises consumers of the reason for the recall and the actions they should take if they have already purchased the affected product.

The Product Recalled is:

• Barkat GLUTEN FREE & WHEAT FREE Organic Porridge Flakes 500g
• Expiry: 12 Jun 08 and 13 Jul 08
• Lot/Production code: I06 & I07

No other Gluten Free Foods Ltd products are known to be affected
