Product withdrawal of Waitrose Ltd two incorrectly date coded shellfish and crustacean products

Heads of Environmental Health and Directors of Trading Standards will wish to be aware that Waitrose Ltd has withdrawn two shellfish and crustaceans products due to the wrong use-by date inadvertently being applied. This product is sold exclusively through Waitrose supermarkets.

Waitrose Ltd has withdrawn the affected product from shelves and has placed point-of-sale notices in all Waitrose stores. These notices advise consumers of what actions to take if they have purchased the product.

The products withdrawn are:

Waitrose Hebridean White Crab Meat 100g
Waitrose Mini Shellfish Selections 180g

Use By: 16th April (instead of 16th March)
