Nisa-Today's (holdings) Ltd withdraws two of own-brand Heritage Garlic Sausage and Heritage Pork Luncheon Meat packs

Heads of Environmental Health and Directors of Trading Standards will wish to be aware that Nisa-Today's (Holdings) Ltd. has withdrawn its own brand 'Heritage Garlic Sausage 100g pack' and 'Heritage Pork Luncheon Meat 100g pack', due to a labelling error resulting in incorrect allergen information.

These products contain gluten, mustard, sulphites and wheat and do not show the correct ingredients or allergy advisory statement. They contain ingredients that are not labelled and are not specified as an allergy warning, making this product unsafe for individuals who may be allergic to the undeclared ingredients.

Nisa-Today's (Holdings) Ltd. has undertaken a product withdrawal of the affected items and issued point of sale notices in all stores to notify the public of the withdrawal. The notice advises consumers of the reason for the withdrawal and the actions they should take if they have already purchased the affected product. In addition, Nisa-Today's (Holdings) Ltd. has been in contact with the Anaphylaxis Campaign and will be contacting Allergy UK, which will inform its at risk allergic members of the recall via its websites and a mailshot.
