Milky's (UK) Ltd withdraws its own-brand halloum cheese and yoghurt-based products made in an unapproved premises

Heads of Environmental Health and Directors of Trading Standards will wish to be aware that Milky�s (UK) Ltd has withdrawn its own-brand Halloum Cheese packs and Natural Yoghurt pots due to the products being manufactured in an unapproved premises.
Milky�s (UK) Ltd had recommenced operations following a move from a previously approved establishment. The local authority indicates that there are no food safety concerns regarding the cheese product placed on the market and is currently considering approval of the new premises.
All production at the premises has ceased and will not recommence until approval is granted by the local authority. Milky�s (UK) Ltd has undertaken a full voluntary product withdrawal of all products produced at the unapproved establishment.
The company advises that distribution of this product has been restricted to the London Boroughs and generally supplied to small local ethnic retailers and restaurant outlets.

Milky�s (UK) Ltd Twisted Cheese 250g Packs
All date codes are subject to the withdrawal.
No other Milky�s UK Ltd. products are known to be affected.
