Aldi Stores extends recall to all batches of Brooklea Thick and Creamy Strawberry Yogurt due to possible glass contamination

Food Alert for Information 09/2006, issued on 6 February 2006, gave details of the product recall undertaken by Aldi Stores Ltd with regard to Brooklea brand yogurt.
Further information has now been received from the manufacturer indicating that additional batches of Brooklea Thick and Creamy strawberry yogurt may also have possible glass contamination.
Aldi Stores Ltd has therefore, on a precautionary basis, undertaken a further product recall to include all batches.
Product recall notices will be placed in the national press on Saturday 11 February and Sunday 12 February 2006.
These notices will alert customers to the recall and advise them of what actions to take if they have purchased the products. Point-of-sale notices will also be displayed in all Aldi stores.
Product recalled is:
- Brooklea Thick and Creamy Strawberry Yogurt 150g
- All best before dates
No other Brooklea products are known to be affected.

THIS RECALL APPLIES TO ALL BEST BEFORE DATES
It has come to our attention that batches of Brooklea Thick & Creamy Strawberry Yogurt may contain foreign bodies. As this product does not meet with our high standards of product quality we would ask that it is not consumed.
No other products are affected by this recall.
Customers who have bought this product are asked to return it to their nearest Aldi store, where a full refund will be given.
We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
