Truuuly Scrumptious Organic Baby Food Ltd extends its recall of certain batches of several own brand frozen baby foods due to possible plastic contamination

Food Alert for Information 39/2006 issued on 21 July 2006 outlined a product withdrawal undertaken by Truuuly Scrumptious Organic Baby Food Ltd.
Following the receipt of further information, Truuuly Scrumptious Organic Baby Food Ltd has undertaken a full recall of further products that may contain small pieces of plastic. Truuuly Scrumptious issued a press release on 31 July 2006. Customers have been contacted and point-of-sale notices are on display. These notices will advise customers of the reason for the recall and the actions they can take if they have already purchased the affected products.
The affected products are:
- Carrot, Parsnip and Swede 100g
- Sweetcorn Chowder 140g and 160g
- Vegetable and Lentil Bake 160g
- Vegetable Gratin 140g and 160g
- Winter Vegetables and Chicken 140g, 160g and 220g
- Tomato Pasta 140g, 160g, 200g and 220g
- Cottage Pie 140g, 160g, 200g and 220g
- Shepherds Pie 220g
Best before date: April 2007, May 2007, June 2007 and July 2007.
Description of packaging: Plastic labelled tubs
No other Truuuly Scrumptious Organic Baby Food Ltd products are known to be affected.
