Aldi Stores Ltd recall of Millcroft brand Chicken and Smoked Mayonnaise Sandwich Filling (150g) use by 12 October 2005

Aldi Stores Ltd have withdrawn a batch of Millcroft Chicken, Sweetcorn and Smoked Bacon Mayonnaise Sandwich Filling due to undeclared milk ingredients.

A batch of Millcroft Chicken, Sweetcorn and Smoked Bacon Mayonnaise Sandwich Filling has been filled with Cheese and Onion Sandwich Filling by mistake and as such this batch will contain milk products. The presence of milk products makes this item unsafe for individuals who are allergic to or intolerant to milk.

Aldi Stores Ltd has undertaken a product recall and product recall notices will be displayed in their stores from today and will be placed in the national press next week. In addition, Aldi Stores Ltd has been in contact with the Anaphylaxis Campaign to alert their milk allergic members.
