United Biscuits (UK) Ltd recalls a batch of own brand Go Ahead! Figfuls biscuits due to a potential microbiological issue

Heads of Environmental Health and Directors of Trading Standards will wish to be aware that United Biscuits (UK) Ltd has recalled a batch of its Go Ahead! Figfuls 150g due to a potential microbiological issue associated with the pre-bake glaze.
United Biscuits (UK) Ltd. has undertaken a product recall of the affected item and issued product recall notices in the national press on 26 November 2005. In addition, point-of-sale notices will be displayed in stores to notify the public of the recall. The notice advises consumers of the reason for the recall and the actions they should take if they have already purchased the affected product.
The product recalled is:
- Go Ahead! Figfuls 150g
- Best Before Date: 25 MAR 06
No other United Biscuits (UK) Ltd products are known to be affected
