Holland and Barrett withdraw two of its Nature's Harvest sunflower seed products due to suspected contamination with glass-like substance

Holland and Barrett has withdrawn specific batches of two sunflower seed products from its Nature's Harvest range as a precaution due to two complaints of a glass-like substance being found in the product.

Holland and Barrett has undertaken a product withdrawal of the affected items. Point-of-sale notices are to be displayed in all stores. These notices will advise customers of the reason for the withdrawal and the actions they can take if they have already purchased one of the affected products.

The products withdrawn are:

• Nature's Harvest Salad Sprinkle 250g, BBE Oct 2005, Batch No 20207
• Nature's Harvest Salad Sprinkle 500g, BBE Oct 2005, Batch No 20108
• Nature's Harvest Sunflower Seeds 125g, BBE Oct 2005, Batch No 20042
• Nature's Harvest Sunflower Seeds 500g, BBE Oct 2005, Batch No 22023

No other Holland and Barrett Nature�s Harvest products are known to be affected.
