Product recall of Café Met low-fat sterilised milk drinks

A product recall has been issued by Arla Foods of their Café Met brand Mochalatte and Chocolatte low-fat sterilised milk drinks. Arla Foods are taking this action as a precautionary measure following the detection of a fault, which affects the neck of the glass bottle on a specific batch.

The products being recalled are:

• Café Met brand Mochalatte with a 'best before' date of 21.05.2005, 290ml glass bottle with a red cap
• Café Met brand Chocolatte with a 'best before' date of 22.09.2005, 290ml glass bottle with a purple cap

No other Café Met brand products are known to be affected and this recall only relates to the products described above.

Arla Foods are recalling the products from their customers and issuing a product recall notice (see attached) in national newspapers from Tuesday 23rd November 2004.
