Product recall of Crusha Milkshake Mix

Heads of Environmental Health and Directors of Trading Standards will wish to be aware of a product recall by The Silver Spoon Company of Crusha Milkshake Mix due to the omission of an ingredient resulting in the products not meeting usual quality standards.
The FSA is advised that the products are not harmful if drunk, however customers may notice slight fizzing on opening, pungent aroma, cloudy appearance or an off flavour.
The products recalled are:

L3128 – Chocolate 740ml
L3204 – Chocolate 300ml
L3133 – Raspberry 740ml
No other Crusha Milkshake Mix products are known to be affected.

The Silver Spoon Company will be issuing a product recall notice in the national newspapers which will appear from 14th October 2003.

During the manufacture of a particular batch of Crusha, identifiable by the above code numbers, an ingredient was incorrectly omitted. As a result the product did not meet our usual quality standards on this occasion.
It is not harmful when drunk, but you may notice one or some of the following: slight fizzing on opening, pungent aroma, cloudy appearance or off flavour.
Our primary concern is for our customers. If you are concerned about the quality of the product that you have bought you should return it to the original store of purchase for a full refund.
