Comment:
Gelatine is obtained from the crushed bones of cattle. It is present in a large number of sweets consumed mainly by children. We do not know if it can transmit B.S.E. but experts have repeatedly warned us that any cannibalistic behaviour is dangerous. As there are other vegetable based substitutes, I feel that it should be removed from the food chain.
