Consultation on draft regulations implementing directive 2006/52/EC amending directives 95/2/EC and 94/35/EC

This paper deals with the consultation on draft regulations implementing in England European Parliament and Council directive 2006/52/EC amending directives 95/2/EC on food additives other than colours and sweeteners and 94/35/EC on sweeteners for use in foodstuffs.

The purpose of this note is to inform Board members of a forthcoming stakeholder consultation, seeking comments on new draft Regulations amending the Miscellaneous Food Additives Regulations 1995 and the Sweeteners in Food Regulations 1995, together with an associated Regulatory Impact Assessment.
