Nestlé UK Ltd has notified the Agency that it is recalling one batch of 'Build-up original 400g' as a precautionary measure, because a number of these packs could contain small pieces of thin plastic.

Waitrose has recalled organic eggs from one farm because they may be contaminated with lead. The Agency has issued a Food Alert for Information.
Sunflower oil from Ukraine

The Food Standards Agency has today written to organisations representing suppliers and importers of cooking oils, to alert them to the presence in the UK of sunflower oil containing significant levels of mineral oil. The sunflower oil originated in Ukraine.
